5/10/14 breakfast

Yesterday was a big run day, (2miles, 4/1min at 4.3/3 pace) followed by a bigass hamburger, so good...sore as hell when I got up at 1:30a and made a toasted pb&j

So for breakfast today, something lite since we will be BBQ'n this afternoon for Mother's Day

Yogurt, pear, crumbled granola bar & cinnamon....with an iced coffee...Suzi is excited about it!

5/7/14 breakfast

Good run, in exactly 30 days I'll be doing my first 5k....what the fuck was I thinking?   Anyway, I was in such ankle pain, (left) yesterday...omg...in bed by 10am....
Today, however, much better...so, celebrating with bombass chicken tacos

Just scarfed down a donut like if never had one before in the breakroom....WTFF is wrong with me?  True, I haven't had one since before January 4th....but still....that is proving that I have food issues, still
Haven't bought cookies, cake, pies ect since January...and I see that I still need to continue that behavior, at least for the time being

Run was good, but breakfast is better!  Started to just make a bit of sliced toms & moss salad, turned into everything good!  Tomatoes, mozzarella, olives, marinated artichoke hearts, balsamic, and some toasted buttered sourdough....yumma

Ran yesterday....excellence....then on to CostCo to refill my fridge...then off to Pirate Fest....arrgh!  Delish corn on the cob with lemon pepper...festival food doesn't have to sink my eating strategy.  Followed by portobello raviolis for dinner
Today, bombass grilled Chezz with zesty chipolte salsa, Velveet, marinated artichokes, ham with some sliced pear & chips on the side...yum

It's four-twenty!!!  Ya well, I don't smoke, so doesn't really mean jack shit to me....and it's Easter Sunday, also Orthodox Easter Sunday.   All in all, no big deal....it's my 'Monday' in that my work week starts tonite.  Ham luncheon to be had at my sisters today, our holiday celebrations are family meals.....all that religious stuff is irrelevant
And with that, peanutbutter toast with banana slices and cinimon to honor Elvis accompanied by a blended iced coffee....yum

Got lazy for a few weeks there...not posting equals not being accountable.
I have continued to maintain a good diet.
my indulgences have been chocolate and I have continued weight loss...NO GAIN!
So, adding pasta was not as detrimental as I expected.
Temperatures are rising, taxes are done...now to get the pool into pod per summer shape!
So this morning, steel cut oalmeal with dried cranberries and homemade iced coffee....yum

Today, I made a bombass meal....fish tacos!  First time
Used Ono, Asian spice & floured with salt and cayenne....shallow fry
Secret sauce, (yogurt & sriracha), sliced green onion, shredded napa cabbage & avacado
BOMB!

Had an egg sandwich for lunch at work w/yogurt & fruit, granola bar as a snack
So, slap had a granola bar before the gym...much better day today.  2.7mph, at 10 incline for, wait for it......for 45 minutes!!!  Instead of 30
Skipped the weight machines, didn't want to wait....so lunch was a Ono salad....put some soy sauce & cayanne on the fish...pretty good!  Lettuce, fish, crutons & miso dressing.   Gotta learn how to make my own...o, and some Chardonnay ....(abc, anything but Chardonnay)

Using the app on my phone, "easy 5k with Jeff Galloway" has been ok...I hated to run as a kid....now, not so much...don't get me wrong, cuz I certainly don't love it

start to run

This just sounds so ridiculous to me….the whole “you’ll feel better after working out, even the first time, and it gets easier and easier”

Well DUH!

I mean, I know this, I’ve done this, I HAVE achieved excellent results…………but certainly not anytime recently

I have allowed me, to be just a clusterfuck, for a long ass time

So here I am, hating running, I HATE RUNNING….

I have started to train for a 5K, using the Jeff Galloway app……

What a struggle to get thru the first session……1 min run, 1 min walk

Everyother day, run….UGH

Today was training day 8

It was almost a breeze

Get right the fuck outta here

Diet is more thought out and crapfree
